Orintha Silva does the training at Ten Broeck Farm and has 35 years of equine experience. That experience taught her how critically important it is to base her business on integrity, and to treat every student with dignity. Orintha was the director and trainer at Tempus Fugit Farm in Amherst, NH before she and her husband started Ten Broeck Farm. Orintha’s equestrian background includes 4H, Pony Club and studying classical dressage. She developed an equestrian center from the ground up, and in just two years it became the premier equine business center in the area. Before going into the equine business as a full-time career, Orintha was the director of development for a multi-million dollar health care organization. She is the immediate past president of the Nashua, NH Rotary Club. Having moved from New Hampshire to Massachusetts, Orintha is currently awaiting her license as a Massachusetts instructor. Orintha recently returned from Holland where she looked for re-sale prospects and horses for clients. Ask anyone who has worked with Orintha, and they will tell you that it is her excellent communication skills, in combination with her equestrian skills and intuition, that make her a special instructor.

Felisberto “Phil” Silva does all the in-hand training and equine transportation at Ten Broeck Farm, and has 19 years of experience in equine care, support, and trailering. Prior to starting Ten Broeck Farm, Phil was the barn manager at Tempus Fugit Farm in Amherst, NH. Phil runs horses for breed shows and qualifies stallions in their stud books. Phil’s reputation as an equine valet is the result of his ongoing trailering of domestic and imported horses from Florida to the Middle Atlantic States, the Midwest and the Northeast. Phil has working relationships with equine facilities in Brazil, Holland, Germany, and Portugal. Horses and riders alike have benefited from Phil’s insight and abilities in horse handling.
