Ten Broeck Farm

Here’s look back at some highlights from 2012. Ten Broeck Farm enjoyed a spectacular year and we thank all our supporters who share in our success. The momentum is sure to continue for 2013!

It began in April at Equine Affaire in Ohio where Phil showed Festivo MR. Before we knew it, the weekend of June 8-10 arrived, and what a weekend it was! First, the Young Horse Show made its debut in our region.

Then we had two days of the Great American USDF/New England Breed Show series. In between those two separate shows, our indoor arena was literally transformed so that we could welcome our guests to a catered buffet dinner followed by an equine show, all to benefit the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Our sponsors, "volunteer army" and tireless interns made the weekend successful beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you again!

In July, we held a schooling show with Remmy Bron-von Dam from Holland. Next, you could find us at at HITS Centerline and Vermont Dressage Days. In September, we were at Dressage at Devon where Phil "made history" by wearing a helmet, the first handler to do so. Before the month was done, Ten Broeck Farm was the venue for the New England KWPN-North America keuring hosted by Majestic Gaits of Brookline, NH. In October, we were the venue for the North American Friesian Keur Inspections.

In December we welcomed Dr. Christian Schacht back for two days of clinics, and concluded a season-long series of versatility challenges held by the Pepperell Horse Owners Association (PHOA).

In between all of this activity, we continued to train young horses -- both on the ground and under saddle -- and our riding clients.

As the New Year begins, we will both be in Wellington, FL where Phil will be one of the featured handlers for the Young Horse Finals at the Winter Equestrian Festival.

We are so grateful for all of our wonderful clients and their horses, whether here at Ten Broeck Farm or elsewhere between Maine and Florida. We continue to meet extraordinary people and horses in this business that we love.

We are blessed, and we thank all of you who believe in what we do, and how we do it.

We send you our heartfelt wishes for a Happy, Healthy 2013!
