Mr. Bond Interagro Excels at First Dressage Show

Phil and Orintha Silva were at the Eastern Region Andalusian Horse Club at Mount Holyoke in South Hadley, MA over the weekend of June 30—July 1.

Mr. Bond Interagro – affectionately known as “007” or “James” – received high point of the day. It was his first dressage show. James is a 4-year-old Lusitano stallion owned by Tom Mikes of Treasure Coast Farms located in Massachusetts and Florida.

With handler Phil Silva, he also won the Andalusian Jr. Stallions, 3- and 4- years-old, which qualified him for the Eastern Region Classic Andalusian/Lusitano Show in Virginia later this summer.

James has only been at Ten Broeck Farm for slightly more than a month. “What a pleasure it is to have this horse working with me,” said Orintha Silva. “He is so fluid in his movements and so sound in mind. We are all looking forward to the future of this horse!”

Also accompanying the Silvas was Ten Broeck Farm intern Lisa Andersson and farm client Danielle McKenney.
