Toine Hoefs

Toine Hoefs is based in Holland, and is an internationally known rider, trainer, breeder and judge. Toine grew up as a jumper rider and was a successful farrier for twenty years before breeding became his life’s work. In 1982, he and his wife, Ingrid, opened their own breeding barn in Erp The Netherlands, called “Stal Hoefs”. Toine has been a breeding judge for the KWPN for more than 20 years in both Europe and the United States.

Toine has done clinics for NEDA and was the Breeding Show judge at Dressage at Devon in 2004 and 2006. He was the presenter at the 2005 USEF Dressage Sport Horse Seminar in California.

Toine has received international acclaim for many successful home bred and raised horses, including the Oldenburg stallions Ex Libris (by Elan xx x Principaal) and the KWPN registered Juventus (by Dublin x Principaal).
